The Challenge

"Nature is not the backdrop for commersialised self-care.

The Earth is the living, bleeding body of the Divine. To save it, you must first condemn your carefully curated social persona to die."

From the Eco-Tantra Manifesto

Lesson: We are separated from nature by our own curated identities. Practice: Go outdoors, into the wild, and remove all artificial barriers. Undress, be naked, feel the elements embrace you. Become a part of nature. Next Step: Spend time meditating outdoors in the nude. Sit naked on the soft grass, the mossy log or the cold, hard rock. Use the rhythm of an integrative breath to feel a deeper connection to the Earth.

Lesson: The craving for acceptance imprisons us. Practice: Digital de-tox. Stay off social media. Stop chasing the approval of strangers through meaningless comments and likes. Next Step: Follow your path without fear of disapproval. Be guided by your awakened body. Never explain yourself or your actions when challenged or ridiculed. It is the scorn of the ignorant; they would not understand your explanation but they will see your example.

Lesson: Give to the Earth and it will give back to you. Practice: As you sit unclothed in nature, learn to feel your arousal. Accept it without judgement or shame. Bring yourself to pleasure and share it with the soil. [WARNING: Know the law in your local area. Whilst being naked is not often illegal in itself, masturbating in a public place or in a place where you're likely to be seen could lead to arrest.] Next Step: Distribute seed bombs to re-wild the post-industrial apocalypse in your local area. Ensure that these bombs contain your own seed. This is your offering to the Earth and the Earth, in turn, will feed you.

Lesson: You are complete in your divinity. You are whole in yourself. Attachment causes only anxiety. Practice: Seek out isolation. Spend time off-grid or wild camping. Extend these periods of isolation until you are completely comfortable in your own solitude. Next Step: Embrace minimalism. Discard unnecessary objects. Pride yourself in having the minimal amount of material objects possible.

Lesson: You are connected to all through your integrative breath. Practice: Use your breath as an aid to meditation. Inhale through your nose, imagine you are inhaling a spark of divinity and drawing it down the front of your body, until you feel it nestling beneath your genitals. Hold it there; let it expand inside you. Then exhale slowly, allowing it to rise along your spine before expanding outwards. Pause in emptiness and experience oneness. Next Step: Practice the same breathing technique whilst smearing your naked body in mud, covering yourself in dirt, or masturbating into the soil.

Lesson: You are not alone. Practice: Build a community. Find like minded people and support each other in your practice. Or, use the Contact Form to send a message with your location and we will connect you with people nearby. Next Step: Work together to protect your local environment and re-wild the desolated landscape of the post-industrial era.
